Hello all, as we Arsenal football club established itself as a superb academy around the world. Lots of youngster were dreamed to play in their academy as Arsenal developed themselves as a football star. Look at players like Adams, Dixon, Bould, Winterburn, Parlour, Gibbs, Wilshere; they reflect those traits. I’m sure the older fans could name plenty of players from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, who were a reflection of the values of the club. Here's top 5 successful academy player who successfully to become top player after they entering Arsenal academy:

5 - Jack Wilshere

Of the current crop of young guns to come through the academy, Wilshere is without doubt the player with the potential to go the furthest. Born in Stevenage, the left-footed midfielder joined Arsenal when he was nine years old and became the Gunners youngest league debutant when he featured in the clash with Blackburn Rovers in September 2009. One of the highlights in his career, he established himself as a one of the promising Arsenal player when he dominant a midfield area against Barcelona that ended with victory 2-1. Able to handle the requirements of moving from one end of the field to the other, superb technical skills with the ball, communicate well and have good organisational skills makes him a top player. 4 - Ashley Cole

Arsenal's Youth Academy Director Liam Brady believes that Cole's development into a world class left-back is the academy's greatest achievement so far. A striker in his formative years, Cole was transformed into the attacking left back we now see marauding down the wing and he benefited greatly from a loan spell at Crystal Palace in 2000. He is also one of the members in "The Invinsible" squad. After his £5million plus William Gallas switch across London to Stamford Bridge he has added two FA Cups and the League Cup to the three FA Cups and two league titles he won with the Gunners. Currently play for AS Roma after he left Chelsea at 2014. 

3 - Martin Keown

Martin Keown is an English former professional footballer who played as a defenderfrom 1984 to 2005 notably in the Premier League for Arsenal where he made over 300 appearances for the club and won nine major trophies. He also played for Brighton & Hove Albion, Aston Villa, Everton, Leicester City and Reading. Keown made his England debut in 1992 against France and went on to win 43 caps for the national side over the next 10 years, gradually forming a respected defensive partnership with Arsenal team-mate Tony Adams at both club and international level. Keown represented England at four major international football finals including the 1998 and 2002 World Cups.He is now a part-time scout and coach for Arsenal, as well as a pundit for the BBC, ESPN, TV3, and Al Jazeera Sports +3. He came out of retirement in 2012 and briefly played for Combined Counties League Premier Division side Wembley in their FA Cup fixtures.

Hello! Today I want to talk about the one of the legendary of Arsenal, Theirry Henry, Joining from Juventus at 1999 worth 19.7M pounds, Theiry Henry becoming top scorer in Arsenal football history with bagging up into 228 goals in 377 games. French-born striker, who started in Monaco in a youth time joining Juventus at 1996. He won several awards at Monaco such as FFA Young Player Of The Year before departure to the Italian Giant. But then, he failed to meet an expectation as he left Juventus to joining Arsenal. Theiry Henry starts his career at Arsenal with an emphatic fashion as he scored more than 20 goals in his first season at Arsenal. 

Wenger immediately turned Henry back into a striker and soon had the deadliest weapon in the Premier League wearing No. 14 for Arsenal. Over the next eight seasons he scored a club-record 228 goals in 377 games, winning two league titles and two F.A. Cup finals. He came to define the bulk of Wenger's time in charge.

By 2007, after a heartbreaking defeat in the Champions League final against Barcelona, Henry seemed to have grown unsettled in England. Unexpectedly, he was then sold to Barcelona. Once again playing on the wing, he has not been as effective in Spain.

There's player who fail to meet up expectation in Arsenal football club: So there's my top 10 worst signings made by Arsene Wenger:

10- Junichi Inamoto

Arrived from Japan with a huge reputation, and expectation to match, but made virtually no impact during a year at Arsenal and was quickly moved on to Fulham.


9- Manuel Almunia

It could be argued that Arsenal had worse players and less value for money in the position but, in the period from 2007 until 2010 when Wenger was far too patient with so many players, the case of Almunia was surely the most frustrating.


8- Richard Wright

Having punched the ball into his own net against Charlton then allowed a soft goal to Gus Poyet in the North London Derby, Wright was left fighting even to make the Arsenal bench. He left to join Everton after only one season and 22 appearances, conceding defeat to Seaman and never returning to his early Ipswich highs.

Those player did not meet expectation based on their quality and price that makes Arsene Wenger's gamble not worth it. Arsenal need to splash amount of money to them but the return Arsenal get it's not suitable from what club expect for.
